More to know about the man behind the wheel of the cs416 machine!

Full name : John Stewart Paterson

D. O .B. 22/1/88 (Age 21)

Lives : Cowdenbeath , Fife

Hobbies : Watching and participating in as much motor sport as i can afford. Like watching telly and films when i get the chance, like to play pool and darts although im not exactly good at either! I visit my sis as often as i can and other than that im boring!

Family : i live at home with my mum, my dad stays not too far away in crossgates. I have two elder sisters, lesley and claire. Claire and my bro in law colin are probably my biggest supporters, and my niece baby Morven! I would get battered if i didn't mention max and troy ( claires cats).

Cars : I have had a few , but at the moment i drive my trusty ( haha!) transit , the one that i tow my car to the track with and have a wee saxo vtr. I have had two wee fiesta vans, and a saxo. How ironic is it that my first two cars were citreon ax's? The pocket rocket was a legend in its self!

Occupation : Im not working at the moment so if you need me let me know lol
 
 
Heroes? Well no surprize most of them are racing drivers in some way shape or form! In formula one mika hakkinen was the main man. But in terms of racing which i have seen first hand, Bert finniken can really make those f2's shift in the shale , another flying finn. Then there is the man who needs no introduction, but they always give him one anyway . .  been there seen it done it won it, the man they call the master Billy Batten! Rob Speak , 9 times world champion, how can you argue with a record like that? My friend Gordon Moodie is a legend in his own right, should be a double world champ without the technicalities! And any of you that have seen the film the flying scotsman will know that Graham Obree is a super human individual, I'm not into cycling or anything but that was some achivement considering the demons he had to overcome. In autograss, shuggy brown is the man to beat, never moans , just gets on with it. I tried to give him a wee run for the number one, but you always get someone better than your self and shuggy is that man, he also builds a cracking good engine !

What would i change in autograss? I would put more competent people in certain jobs, sometimes decisions are made and then someone with  a bit of knowledge and common sense finds out and everything is ok again after your name has been dragged through the mud! Takes away a bit of pride and integrity doesn't it!

What would i like to go on and do after class one? I still have a bit of winning to do here first , i would love to be club champion, maybe win a bas round,and get a place near the top at the nationals. I would love to go on to race national hot rods or formula two stock cars, and putting the gold on top of the car would be a lifetime ambition!

Best Moment so far? Winning class one scottish championship , will do my best to keep it.

Worst moment so far? Not being able to race at the nationals, but whet goes around comes around.
Why number 46? Ever seen Days of thunder? lol Will be changing number soon enough anyway.
